Join Tomio in an exploration of variations of malasana and squats, as well as hip openers. You will learn different techniques to deepen your malasana (also known as the yogic squat), including modifications for different levels of flexibility and strength. You will also be introduced to various squat variations, such as wide-legged squats and side squats, which target different muscle groups and provide a well-rounded lower body workout.

Tomio will also guide you through a series of hip openers specifically designed to stretch and strengthen the muscles around the hips, such as pigeon pose, lizard pose, and butterfly pose. These exercises can help improve flexibility, release tension, and increase mobility around the hip joints.
Throughout the workshop, Tomio will provide detailed instructions and demonstrations, ensuring that participants understand the proper alignment and technique for each pose. He will also offer modifications and adjustments to accommodate individual needs and abilities.


By the end of the workshop, you can expect to have a deeper understanding of malasana and squat variations, as well as improved flexibility and strength around the hips. You will take home a toolkit of exercises and knowledge that you can incorporate into your regular yoga practice.
