In this second workshop that stands alone in a series, Tara will build upon the solid foundation of our 26&2 class. This workshop incorporates all 26 postures from the classic Original Hot series and introduces compressions and arm balances from the larger 84 asana series including "leg behind the head" and "tiger" (aka forearm balancing).

What to Expect: During this 90-minute practice, we'll start with the Gosh Salutes (think sun salutations, Gosh style) and then explore the 26&2 postures at a more rapid pace while focusing on building the foundations for advanced poses like "Leg Behind the Head," "Sleeping Yogi," "Guillotine," and "Tiger."

Throughout the workshop, you can expect:

Hip Openers: We'll work on hip flexibility, preparing your body for the challenging postures ahead.
Forward Compressions: You'll learn techniques for deepening your forward bends.
Forearm Strengthening: We'll concentrate on strengthening the shoulder girdle, an essential component for advanced poses.

Workshop Structure: The workshop will begin with an introduction to the primary concepts of the practice. This first 20 minutes will provide valuable insights for both newcomers and experienced practitioners. As we progress into the class, Tara will take the time to break down new postures into smaller pieces. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions and receive guidance during the Q&A session at the end of the workshop.

Who Should Attend:

26/2 Enthusiasts: If you're already familiar with the 26&2 series and are seeking an added challenge and some fun, this workshop is designed for you.

Curious Yogis: If you're curious about exploring advanced postures and enjoy a physically engaging practice, you'll find this workshop both enlightening and enjoyable.

Accessible to Vinyasa Practitioners: It's not limited to 26&2 enthusiasts. If you have a regular vinyasa practice, you'll likely find this workshop accessible and rewarding.
